The kitchen doesn't matter if the food  source isn't good.  We plumb Whole Foods in C'ville and our own "Toy Farm" here at Willowledge.  
Here's a snap of what it looks like at the end where we have have several large Rosemary plants

And, as the leaves fall and everything snuggles down for the winter, the persimmons stay on,
providing some wonderful color and a tasty snack

And in winter, we dry roses and other flowers for use in the Spring
